About the 26th Annual Handmade Art Show

Handmade Art Show is a free annual fall event held the third weekend in October (Sunday, 10-20-19) at Homewood Central Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sponsored by the Homewood Arts Council and the City of Homewood.

Handmade Art Show started in 1994 in a private home with just a handful of artists. It now showcases about 40 local artists.

Handmade is different from many other art shows because of its smaller more intimate size and is held in a neighborhood park. Many Homewood residents can walk to the show and consider Handmade their neighborhood art show.

Pickin in the Park

People who love art and music, this event was made for you! Handmade Art Show has teamed up with Pickin in the Park - a music event also sponsored by the Homewood Arts Council. Pickin in the Park started 4 years ago and is a fun, interactive jam session with local musicians. Bring your guitars, ukuleles, banjos, bass and violins to play with other musicians in the area. If you simply like to listen, that's fun too - there will be a band playing center stage. Local art and music in one setting just makes for a Sunday Funday that's for sure!
